2001

The Beginning

Afonso Pacheco transitions from automation and control to renewable energies, joining the staff of CEPEL (ELETROBRAS Research Center).

2003

With a vision of an increasingly renewable future, he goes to Germany to specialize and gain experience in the leading market for technology and know-how.

2005

Assumes the directorship of DEWI do Brasil.

2010

Establishes a partnership with BBB Umwelttechnik GmbH.

2015

Founds BBB Energias Renováveis do Brasil.

2018

With a new philosophy and market vision, SOMA Energias Renováveis emerges, bringing together knowledge and talent to meet the renewable energy market's needs more precisely and contemporarily.
